Congratulations to Kaitlyn Ma, recipient of the 2024 Buckno Lisicky & Company Foundation Scholarship Award. Kaitlyn served as an intern at BLCO during the 2024 Winter/Spring semester and will continue her studies at Penn State Lehigh Valley, graduating in 2026. Congratulations to Olivia Wood, 1st recipient of the Buckno Lisicky & Company Foundation Scholarship Award. Chosen for her high GPA and extracurricular activities during college, Olivia will be beginning her senior year at Lehigh University while pursuing a career in accounting after graduation.
Caleb Stein receives the Gene M. Buckno Memorial Scholarship Award. Caleb is a graduate of Liberty High School, Gene's alma mater. Chosen for his high GPA and participation in many extracurricular activities. Caleb also emulates Gene's passion for giving back to the community with his many volunteer activities. Buckno Lisicky & Company once again participated in the PICPA Cares Annual Sock Drive. Last year firms in the Lehigh Valley collected more than 450 pairs of socks for the homeless and less fortunate. A special thank you to Chris Huber, CPA and everyone at Buckno Lisicky & Company for participating in this year’s drive!
Buckno Lisicky & Company was a proud sponsor of the MEMORIAL LIBRARY OF NAZARETH AND VICINITY'S annual Touch a Truck event held recently at Bushkill Township Recreation Fields. Our own Cindy Merritt (CPA) serves on the library's board. Their mission is to inspire and enrich the lives of the residents in our supporting municipalities by offering valuable lifetime literacies and a community centric service.
In addition to sponsoring this year’s LEUKEMIA AND LYMPHOMA SOCIETY'S Light the Night Walk, we had a wonderful showing of energetic Buckno Lisicky & Company team members! The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Light The Night Walk funds treatments that are saving the lives of patients today. Each year friends, families and coworkers form teams to raise money to support the LLS mission.

Employees of Buckno Lisicky & Company participated in the LEHIGH VALLEY MARCH OF DIMES RUN FOR BABIES held at Steel Stacks Sunday May, 5th. Proceeds generated by the event are used to support programs that help moms have healthy, full-term pregnancies and fund research to find answers to the problems that threaten babies. Every year more than 15 million babies are born prematurely; a million will die before their first birthday as a result.
